Prayer written by Ruth Sewell
Lord God of love, forgive, forgive.Teach us how to truly live.
Judge us not by race or creed and help us in all our hours of need.
And may we someday realize that the earrth, the skies, the seas all belong to Him.
He made them all.
In God's holy sight we are all equal.
Peace on earth cannot be found until we meet on common ground.
Where everyone becomes a neighbor that worships God and loves each other.
Ruth is a senior resident of Casa Illuminara Nursing Home and faithful member of our church.
In her younger days she was a chaplain for the Foreign Legion. Her father was a local judge. Ruth truly lives to hear God's word and to be prayed for. She wakes up each day wondering if this is the day she will be in heaven.
Her prayer reflects God's heart and is powerful in it's direction for our lives.
