God's Vision for this church
CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CHURCH “VISION”Cornerstone Community Church is a Christian fellowship; we gather together to praise and glorify Jesus Christ. Our purpose is fourfold:
Upreach: We believe that loving God is man’s highest calling, that our relationship to Him is our greatest priority. We receive from Him blessing, guidance and peace that passes all understanding. All ministry flows from this relationship.
Inreach: As members of a spiritual family, we seek to equip one another for service and to grow toward spiritual maturity. Thus, we meet to be trained according to the Bible, which we believe to be the “owner’s manual” for our lives. We believe the Bible is God’s perfect word and is relevant to every generation. These Scriptures instruct us in truth and inspire us to please God with our daily lives.
Outreach: Our desire is also to “go out” beyond our “Christian camp” and into the world to expand the kingdom of God through evangelism. We believe God has given every Christian a sphere of influence in which to make an impact for Christ; within his or her family, community and all the world.
Community reach: We, the members of Cornerstone Community Church and a spiritual family, are also members of a community; the community of Del Norte. We believe that all members of a community should desire and work for the good of that community; for the homes, schools, businesses, government, and general welfare and safety of all who live within and around the community. We desire to serve the community of Del Norte as Jesus Christ served us.
